Global Vending Strategy

Later this week, Dr Holmes will be addressing staff on the Global Vending Strategy. Many of you will already be aware of the recent Disaster Recovery investigation of the Dijon incident (Operation Clutching at Straws). As reported in an earlier posting, the inspection team narrowed the root cause down to an unauthorised kettle.

Putting my personal concerns to one side for the moment, that an engineering malfunction on plant, loading the wrong solvent into the vessel or some other such operator incompetance was more likely to be the cause, I would urge you all to attend Dr Holmes presentation, even if you feel, like I do, that you have more pressing scientific investigations to carry out in the laboratories than to learn about the corporate drinks vending policy.
